  • Our training approach prioritises the individual needs, abilities, and learning styles of each junior player, it allows them to take an active role in their own development. Instead of a coach simply dictating drills, our method encourages problem-solving, decision-making, and self-improvement. The focus is on creating an engaging, supportive environment where each player can learn at their own pace, gain confidence, and develop technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills.

  • The program is for players aged 5 to 16, divided into four grades with increasing complexity:

    • Grade 1: Ages 5-7

    • Grade 2: Ages 8-10

    • Grade 3: Ages 11-13

    • Grade 4: Ages 14-16

    Players start in the grade that matches their age, allowing them to build confidence as they progress through the levels.

  • With the Go Play Soccer app, players are in full control! They can practice anywhere, anytime—whether at home, at a friend's place, or even in the park. Just download the app to your mobile device, log in, and your child can start their practice

  • Item Consistency is key! To master each skill, players are encouraged to:

    • Practice regularly.

    • Repeat each skill at least 20-30 times correctly.

    • Build self-discipline and confidence before moving on to assessments.

  • Assessments are a way for players to clearly demonstrate their skills and earn recognition.

    • Players record a video of themselves performing a skill.

    • The video is up delivered to the app for evaluation.

    • Successful assessments earn digital badges and, ultimately, a "Certificate of Competency."

  • Rankings are like stepping stones toward becoming a Junior Skills Master. They represent formal recognition of a player’s current abilities. As players advance, they learn more advanced techniques and complex skills, ensuring continuous growth.

  • Yes, safety is our top priority. All personal information is securely protected, and videos are only accessible to the player and their family via verification codes.

  • Players work on two skills at a time, unlocking new ones as they complete assessments. This ensures focus and effective skill-building without feeling overwhelmed.

  • Payments are made monthly or annually from the date of registration. The cost can be paid over 12 monthly instalments ensuring affordable access to a year of soccer development.

  • Yes, you can pause your subscription after completing a minimum period of 3 months. To do so, simply provide at least 14 days' written notice by emailing billing@goplaysoccer.com.au. Our team will confirm the pause and assist you. Subscriptions can be restarted at any time without hassle.

  • If your child is unable to practice for more than 14 days due to injury or illness, you can apply for a pause in their subscription. Just email billing@goplaysoccer.com.au, and our team will confirm the pause for you.

  • If your child decides to discontinue the Go Play Soccer program, you can cancel the subscription with 14 days’ written notice. Simply email billing@goplaysoccer.com.au to confirm the cancellation, and our team will assist you promptly.

  • Absolutely! Our coaches provide constructive and positive feedback through the app and the goal-setting program. They are also available to discuss your child’s development and progress directly with you.

  • Regular practice is key to skill mastery, but it does not always have to be structured. Practicing 3 days a week is realistic and helps balance motivation levels. Whether 20–30 minutes in the backyard or during free time, consistent effort separates good players from great players.

  • Practice should be enjoyable and productive. Watching the skill tutorial, practicing for 20–30 minutes, and repeating the skill 20–30 times helps build confidence for skill assessments. Players can practice anytime and anywhere, making progress at their own pace.

  • Our assessors are experienced junior development professionals with at least 15 years of expertise. They specialise in players aged 5–16 and bring a wealth of knowledge in skill development, game strategy, and player motivation.

  • The Go Play Soccer program helps players develop and refine skills through dedication and structured practice. We recommend focusing on 2 skills over 2 weeks, practicing a minimum of 20 minutes a day, 3 times a week outside of club training. This structured approach helps players stay motivated and achieve measurable results.
